Our Team
Chris Smith is a lifelong musician, designer and performer. He graduated with a BA in technical theater, with an emphasis in light design, from Christopher Newport University in 2007. Since then he has helped to create countless productions around the Richmond/Newport News Virginia area, with highlights of past lighting projects including My Chemical Romance and Yanni. Chris also performed as a percussionist in the most popular shows at Busch Gardens Williamsburg for over 10 years while also touring the world with one of the top Celtic rock bands 'The American Rogues.' Colony Point Creative is the culmination of all of Chris's education and experiences, which has lead him to this point of being able to conceive and create amazing productions that are not only entertaining to watch, but are enjoyable to be a part of.
